Croatian Register of Shipping Split aims to make its website accessible in accordance with the Act on the Accessibility of the Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Sector Bodies (Official Gazette 17/2019) which translates the Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union. This statement applies to the www.crs.hr website.

This web page partially complies with the Act on the Accessibility of the Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Sector Bodies and the Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and Council due to non-compliance listed below.
Inaccessible content
According to the Art 8 of the Act on the Accessibility of the Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Sector Bodies and Art 5 of the Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and Council, Croatian Register of Shipping Split carried out the initial conformity assessment of the website with the accessibility requirements and determined that due to disproportionate burden, certain parts do not comply with the requirements. Non-compliances refer to the following:
- final user cannot change font colour and type;
- final user cannot change text colour and background;
- not all links are marked with the text Download the document, Read more, Published, etc;
- not all elements are adequately designated so that the blind or visually impaired can use the assistive technology (such as parts of forms and documents), even though most of the elements are designed according to the HTML5 standard;
- prior to application completion, the user should be provided with the guidelines for application;
- titles of all links should specify their content precisely;
- some PDF documents presented in graphic format are not readable to all screen readers;
- photographs do not have suitable textual (alt attribute) and a short audio title in Croatian language;
- website is not suitable for mobile devices

This Accessibility Statement was drawn up on 17th July 2020 based on self-assessment carried out by Croatian Register of Shipping Split.

Compliance Monitoring
Compliance with the Act on the Accessibility of the Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Sector Bodies will be monitored by Information Officer of the Republic of Croatia.
Surveillance inspection of the implementation of the Act on the Accessibility of the Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Sector Bodies is carried out by inspectors and other authorised persons from the Information Officer’s Office.
Relative requirements for the surveillance are defined by the Act on the Right of Access to Information (Official Gazette 25/13 and 85/15).
